Whitley City — A 50th Wedding Anniversary party was given for Leroy and Joyce Thompson on July 17, 2010 at Blue Ash Recreation Center by their children and their families: Ricky and Julie Thompson and their children; Troy and Tara of Cincinnati, OH; Teresa and Mark Campbell, Johnny and Nicholas of Cincinnati, OH; Jennifer Thompson of Kissimmee, FL; and Scotty thompson of West Chester, OH. They also had a surprise 70th birthday party for Leroy. His birthday was the last of June, but we gave him a birthday party too. There were a lot of friends and family that came to the party. Some of the family came from out of town and we appreciate them coming. We all had a great time. We had the party in July so our daughter could be there. She teaches school in Florida and couldn’t make it in December.
