Freeman’s celebrate 60 years

McCreary County Record

    Melvin  (Dennis) and Viola Freeman, who reside at 334 Sioux Trail,  Somerset, KY celebrated 60 years of marriage Saturday with family and friends at Alpine Park.

    Mr. and Mrs. Freeman were married  July 10, 1952 in Whitley City by the late Judge Archie Brown. Viola is the daughter of the late Orville Shoopman and Bessie Shoopman. Dennis is the son of the late Thomas Virgil and Emma Freeman. The couple has three children: two sons, Ron and (Judy) Freeman,  and Jerry Freeman; and a daughter, Deborah and (Jerry) Mc-Neil.  

    They also have five grandsons and seven great grandchildren.

    The couple expresses their appreciation to all who came to celebrate with them on their special day.
