WHITLEY CITY — Delmer and Etta Lay of Hollyhill will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Apr. 10. They were married at Jellico Church of God by Rev. Lawrence Redmon in 1955. Delmer and Etta are the parents of five children: Joy Ball and husband, Rick, of Hollyhill; Demer Jr. and wife, Laurie, of Georgetown; Derrick Lay of Hollyhill; Jonathan Lay and wife, Melody, of Hollyhill; and Alecia Stephens and husband, Jason, of Hollyhill. There are six grandchildren: Palace Stephens, Jon Jon, Joshua, Emma, Josiah and Abigail Lay, all of Hollyhill.
