Letters to the Editor

Read cover to cover

To the Editor:

Sending my thanks and appreciation for your excellent reporting of news and events. I look foreward to my Record weekly — read from cover to cover.

It is birthday time again for me. What Mother Nature has given me, old Father Time keeps trying to take away.

I have been blessed with four beautiful children and many wonderful grandchildren.

I was in McCreary County Memorial Weekend and spent the weekend at Cumberland Falls Resort with my children from Crittenden, KY; LaGrange, KY; granddaughter, hubby and new baby boy from Independence, KY; also granddaughter and new hubby from Louisville, KY; plus daughter, granddaughter and son from here in Elkton, MD.

We always reserve Executive Cabins each year for next year. We all had a wonderful visit. I think I can safely say a good time was had by all!! Looking forward to doing it again next year — Good Lord willing. My sister and family from Crittenden, KY, and my nephew and three nieces also met us there.

The older we get the more we enjoy. Cherish our families and friends.

I am looking forward to next Memorial Day.

I send my love, prayers and best wishes to all who attended.

May God Bless You All,

Flo Anderson

Elkton, MD  21921

P.S. I will submit a group photo of our family reunion soon. Thanks again. Keep up the good work.
