Dear Editor:
Get Health McCreary County is a volunteer led organization that seeks to increase community awareness and participation in healthy activities. One of our latest attempts at bringing healthy activities into the county has been to bring in Zumba, a healthy and fun way to exercise. We were able to get Loretta Johnson, a Zumba instructor from Somerset, KY. In an attempt to keep the cost down to where many in the county could participate we have looked for inexpensive and convenient places to have these events. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control there was some confusion about the events that were scheduled at the high school for March 20, April 3 and April 24. We would like to apologize to the community for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We are now in the process of working out other arrangements and hope to have Zumba in McCreary County again in the near future.
