A Goodly Heritage

Dear Editor,

My wife and I are each native to the county but have not lived there for the past 32 years. Within the past year I have had occasion to need the help of numerous folks there and in a wide variety of capacities. I have found each person I have dealt with to be friendly, courteous and unfailingly helpful beyond the norm; enough so that I wished to write you in the hopes you will share my appreciation with all of your readers. These were not folks who knew of our county connectins, at least not initially, so the fact that we are ‘home folks’ didn’t influence them. I dare not trust my memory to name each one but thank you, again, to each and all who recognize a reference to themselves in this letter. You were a blessing to us.

And I believe other natives would, and will, be just the same. As David said, “I [we] have a goodly heritage.”

Sincerely,

Ron Stephens
