WHITLEY CITY — A missing Pine Knot woman was recently located in Pulaski County.
Charity D. Genoe, 30, was reported missing by her mother March 16 after she failed to contact her family upon her release from McCreary County Jail on Jan. 5.
McCreary County Deputy Sheriff Tom Smith led the investigation but had few leads other than Genoe’s description and reports that she left the jail with an unidentified person.
Then on May 1, Somerset Police arrested Genoe on an outstanding domestic assault warrant issued from McCreary District Court.
Deputy Sheriff Jerry Meadows transported Genoe back to McCreary County Jail at approximately 1:30 a.m. May 2, where she has been lodged on six outstanding warrants.
