A South Kentucky RECC lineman was airlifted to UK Medical Center yesterday after reportedly being jolted with more than 7,000 volts.
The accident occurred at about 11 a.m. on Williamsburg Street.
"Our main concern right now is the health of our employee,” SKRECC CEO Allen Anderson stated. “…Before we release any information about the accident, we will be conducting a thorough investigation. We will gather as many facts as we can, and make a full report to the Kentucky Public Service Commission."
Kentucky PSC has been notified of the accident, Anderson added.
