WHITLEY CITY—The McCreary County Record is pleased to announce the addition of Mike McCollom to our staff.
McCollom joined The Record last week as our newest advertising consultant, servicing all of McCreary County as well as neighboring communities. He may be most familiar to local residents as a real estate agent, working with Somerset-based Ford Brothers Auctioneers & Realtors since 2003.
“Mike brings a wealth of experience and know-ledge of the local market. His attention to detail and emphasis on customer service will be an asset to our sales team and advertising clients,” said Jack McNeely, Record publisher.
McCollom is originally from Montana but has strong roots in McCreary County. He and his wife Jennifer, a McCreary County native, settled here in 2002. They are the proud parents of two sons — Nick, 8, and Ryan, 5 — and currently reside in Pine Knot.
“I look forward to working face-to-face with my personal friends and customers in the McCreary County business community,” McCollom said. “I’m excited to have an active role helping develop and promote their businesses.”
