Whitley City —     Ella Mae Hatfield, age 67, widow of Paul James Hatfield, Loveland, OH went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. She was born in Whitley City KY, to the late Jesse Francis and Flora Hamlin Ball, on December 17, 1942.

    Ella is survived by her loving family. Ella was the mother of six children, five daughters and one son. Daughters are Debbie Halsey, Loveland, OH., Rhonda and husband, Michael, Rabren, TX, Lynn and husband, Walter, Miller, IN, Nicole and husband, Jim, Jackson, Liberty Township, OH, Leva Dawn and husband, Shawn, Anderson, Loveland OH and son, Scott Hatfield, Montana.

    Ella had 12 grandchildren, Jenny, Jon, Christina, Josh, Michelle, Zachary, Caleb, Cherith, Shawn Michael, Nathan, Riley and the late Jeremy Halsey and 9 great grandchildren, Sabrynna, Mackenzie, Lillyaunna, Isaiah, Jayden, Tyler, Taylor, Thad and Tony.

    Ella was the loving sister of Delca Shelton, Roy and wife, Effie Mae, Ball of Whitley City, KY, Della Vanover, Shirley Ball and Nora Lou and husband, Jerry, Bays of Williamsburg KY, Lavonda and husband, Roger, Johnson of West Bend, WI, Larry and wife, Connie, Ball of Loveland, OH, sister-in-law Carolyn Ball of Whitley City, KY and brother-in-law John Horton, Ohio.

    The deceased brothers and sisters are Delmer Ball, Donald Ball, Imogene Hill and Emma Faye Horton.

    Funeral services were held in the chapel at Gwen Mooney Funeral Home. Interment was at the Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH.
