Robert Scottie Morris

Robert Scottie Morris, age 70 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died January 25, 2013 in Somerset, Kentucky at Cumberland Nursing.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11am with Rev. Charles Spice officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on September 26, 1942 the son of the late Robert C. and Lois Ann (Ballou) Morris.  He was a butcher, member of the Whitley City Methodist Church, Kentucky Colonel, American Legion, Deputy Sheriff, Circuit Court Bailiff, and Security Sheriff.

His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn King of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughters, Tammy Rollyson and husband, Jeff of Nancy, Kentucky and Vicki Keith of Knoxville, Tennessee; and sister, Donna King of Whitley City, Kentucky.  Granchildren, Mahala, Kiara, Jerilyn, Haley, and Brody also survive.

McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
