Harold Bryant, age 67 years, Whitley City, Kentucky died February 15 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 18, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Dixon officiating. Burial was in Sandhill Cemetery.
He was born at Whitley City, Kentucky on May 18, 1942 the son of the late Leslie and China Perry Bryant. He was a mechanic at school bus garage and of the Baptist faith.
His parents and his son, Gerald Bryant preceded him in death. Penny Lake is the deceased sister.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Canada Bryant and his children, Deland Bryant and wife, Michelle, Pine Knot, Kentucky; Kelly Bryant and wife, Shelly, Whitley City, Kentucky; Jenny McCoy and husband, Jerry and Melinda Tapley and husband, Larry, Marshes Siding, Kentucky. The surviving brothers and sisters are Arless Bryant and wife, Sheila, Whitley City, Kentucky; Randy Bryant and wife, Janice, Barbourville, Kentucky; Elva Perkins and husband, Ed, Stearns, Kentucky; Opal McHone, Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Mae Bryant, Marshes Siding, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive.
