Stephanie E. Wetzel and Merrill T. Slaven are pleased to announced their marriage. The couple were wed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Offerle, Kansas, on May 30, 2009. Stephanie is the daughter of Dolores and Wayne Wetzel of Spearville, Kansas, and the granddaughter of Ruth and Raymond Wetzel of Offerle, Kansas. Merrill is the son of Sue and Alton Slaven of Whitley City, Kentucky, and the grandson of Edna and the late Clarence Branscum of Smithtown, Kentucky, and the late Jane and DeWitt Slaven, formerly of Pine Knot, Kentucky.
